Biography
During the 90s, I worked as a recording artist in Catalonia, collaborating with the record company PICAP to release two albums as a singer-songwriter.
Already in the 21st century and during my time in Miami and Los Angeles, I collaborated with Universal Music Publishing Group and Castillo Music, where I developed songs, wrote for international artists, and produced music for my own projects. Along the way, I've been fortunate to receive various music awards, including the BMI Latin Award, Composer of the Year Award by Telemundo, and the Catalan Exit Award.
Additionally, I earned a Special Mention for the soundtrack of the movie "La Noche que murió Elvis". One of my proudest achievements was reaching number one on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart, and I also received a Grammy nomination for the song "Cuidarte el alma" sung by Chayanne.
Over the past 15 years, I've taught music, specializing in guitar, voice, and songwriting. I've worked at schools like Aula de Música d'Abrera (BCN), Set d'Acció (BCN), Cant Creatiu (BCN), Achords (Igualada), Music School Perpignan (France), and Miami School of The Arts & Music, Florida. My passion as teacher, is nurturing students' musical talents and fostering their creativity.
Coming Up Soon
Many may wonder why a Catalan singer-songwriter, who isn't American but resides in Florida, dedicates time and resources to producing and performing Americana music. The answer lies in my decade-long experience living in the United States.
Immersed in its language and captivated by its culture, I embarked on a journey to delve deeper into Americana music. Collaborating with esteemed American writers like David M. Murray and Kenneth Leroy, I found myself drawn to the rich tapestry of American folk, its unique sounds, instruments, and narratives.
As an artist, I've always been driven by a desire to understand and celebrate the cultures that surround me. Each time I find myself in a new country, I seek to connect with its essence through music, weaving songs that reflect the spirit and stories of its people.
Americana music, with its roots deeply embedded in the American experience, offers me a medium through which I can explore and honor the culture that has become an integral part of my life.
Family
It’s a long road to my Pa’s house
It’s a long, long road back home
It’s a long road filled with fear and doubts
And it’s been far too long to atone
As I make my way through his gate
All those years, they flash right by
I knock on the door and hope the wait
Won’t bring a short reply
It’s a long long road
Got longer through the years
It fueled my fear
and brought me to tears
But I’m headed home
To mend those sinful ways
And find some peaceful days
The door creaked open slowly
And there stood a bent and broken old man
“Hello Pa, don’t you know me?”
He said, “I did when we began”
I mustered a smile and extended my hand
He turned slowly and shuffled away
I didn’t understand, I didn’t have a plan
Should I leave or should I stay
It’s a long long road
Got longer through the years
It fueled my fear
and brought me to tears
But I’m headed home
To mend those sinful ways
And find some peaceful days
Might as well come in outta the rain
I swallowed real hard and said to him
Look here Pa, I got nothing left but pain
Had nothing before, I got nothing today
You sound like the prodigal son
Set another place for supper
And we’ll pick up where we begun
It’s a long long road
Got longer through the years
It fueled my fear
and brought me to tears
But I’m headed home
To mend those sinful ways
And find some peaceful days
Homesick
I can hear it slam, and slam again,
And a hundred times more each day
That old screen door on our farmhouse
On a sultry warm summer’s day
I can hear my mother calling out
“Don’t slam that door so hard!”
As we raced into the barnyard
But, oh the times that old door seen
Each slam-of-its-jamb, a new mystery
One way out, full of adventure
The other, to a family history
Half the paint had long disappeared
What was left, a faded green
Hinges were a wee bit worn
With a growing hole in the screen
Worn out latch, from front to back
The threshold had seen its day
T’was all but worn away
But, oh the times that old door seen
Each slam-of-its-jamb, a new mystery
One way out, full of adventure
The other, to a family history
And how I wish to be there now
Someday soon, we’ll all be together
Through that old screen door, somehow
But, oh the times that old door seen
Each slam-of-its-jamb, a new mystery
One way out, full of adventure
The other, to a family history
There’s no place like home
True Stories
He’s a four-flushin’ gambler
Headin’ for the Creole Queen
Fast on the draw
And everything in between
With a handlebar stash
And a Deadman’s hat
He’s a New Orleans nightmare
And he likes it like that
Cheaters cheat in sheep’s clothing
Actions speak louder than words
But no one knows your heart of hearts
And who it is you serve
He’s a bad wheelr-dealer
And the worst of his kind
Best sleight of hand
But he’ll pay you no mind
With a pearl handle derringer
And a black heart of stone
He’s a bottom dealer
Drenched in cheap cologne
Cheaters cheat in sheep’s clothing
Actions speak louder than words
Turnin’ inside out, Turnin’ inside out
often it is a curse
But when he died at eighty-two
With a full house hand
All paid respects to him
To witness firsthand
This four-flushin’ gambler
This bad wheeler-dealin’ man
Gave his winnin’s to charity
In his name, Reverend Dan
Cheaters cheat in sheep’s clothing
Actions speak louder than words
But no one knows your heart of hearts
And who it is you serve
Cheaters cheat in sheep’s clothing
Actions speak louder than words
Your epitaph isn’t written
Till you’ve ridden in a hearse
Storytelling
As I ride these ole’, worn back roads
I hear the stories once left untold
Of the women and men who built this land
Some with hearts, some bare hands
Some built families, farms, and friends
Some climbed mountains, it just depends
But the heart of these who’ve gone before
Enrich us to our freedom core
These ole’ back roads,
These freedom trails,
These avenues drenched in light.
These cart path lanes,
Across great plains,
These ole’ back roads,
Is where you roam
These freedom trails,
They’ll take you home
These cart path lanes,
Across great plains,
I’ll be with you tonight
I may be a stranger looking in
But I’ve heard these stories
Of the women and men
And I’ll share them with you
From these back roads
From the heart of America, I suppose
No statues in the park,
Where they left their mark
No words in the history books
No holidays along the ways
Just plain old blood and guts
These ole’ back roads,
These freedom trails,
These avenues drenched in light.
These cart path lanes,
Across great plains,
These ole’ back roads,
Is where you roam
These freedom trails,
They’ll take you home
These cart path lanes,
Across great plains,
I’ll be with you tonight

I love singing stories, and I’m searching for them, about the everyday life that often slips by unnoticed, known only to those closest to us. I search for genuine events that touch me deeply, which I then express through my music and voice. My aim is to bring this cinematic folk to life, both through recordings and live performances, to share these heartfelt tales with you in the best way possible.
When I had no voice, you spoke for me
When I had no choice, you set me free
You led me through shadows of night
You're my hope, my guiding light
You're the one who loves me still
You're the one who always will
You're the one who loves me still
You're the one who always will
You are the one
You're the one who cared
Calmed my fear when I was scared
Your amazing grace touched my soul
Lifted me up and made me whole
You're the one who loves me still
You're the one who always will
You're the one who loves me still
You're the one who always will
You're the one
You're the one
You led me to live just as I am
Ask me to give whenever I can
You're the one from far above
that taught my heart how to love
You're the one who loves me still
You're the one who always will
You're the one who loves me still
You're the one who always will
You're the one who loves me still
You're the one who always will
You're the one who loves me still
You're the one who always will
You're the one

Lyrics Kenneth Leroy
If the sun seems out of sight
You will need a guiding light
I'll be there, I'll be there
If you think you are alone
And your confidence is blown
I'll be there, I'll be there
Any day, anywhere, I'll be there.
When you need that special friend
I'm by your side, count me in
Cause I'll be there, I'll be there
If fear starts to take hold
While love is growing cold
I'll be there, I'll be there.
If your hopes fade away,
You could use a brighter day
I'll be there, I'll be there
Any day, anywhere, I'll be there.
When you need that special friend
I'm by your side, count me in
Cause I'll be there, I'll be there
All across our land
We need a helping hand
I am here, I am there
I'll help you everywhere
If bad thought overwhelm
You'll need help at the helm
I'll be there
If your ups are mostly down
You don't need to wear a frown
I'll be there, I'll be there
Any day, anywhere, I'll be there.
When you need that special friend
I'm by your side, count me in
Cause I'll be there, I'll be there
