Biography
During the 90s, I worked as a recording artist in Catalonia, collaborating with the record company PICAP to release two albums as a singer-songwriter. During my time in Miami, I collaborated with Universal Music Publishing Group and Castillo Music, where I developed songs, wrote for international artists, and produced music for my own projects. Along the way, I've been fortunate to receive various music awards, including the BMI Latin Award, Composer of the Year Award by Telemundo, and the Catalan Exit Award. Additionally, I earned a Special Mention for the soundtrack of the movie "La Noche que murió Elvis". One of my proudest achievements was reaching number one on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart, and I also received a Grammy nomination for the song "Cuidarte el alma" sung by Chayanne.
Over the past 15 years, I've taught music, specializing in guitar, voice, and songwriting. I've worked at schools like Aula de Música d'Abrera (BCN), Set d'Acció (BCN), Cant Creatiu (BCN), Achords (Igualada), Music School Perpignan (France), and Miami School of The Arts & Music, Florida. My passion is nurturing students' musical talents and fostering their creativity.
Coming Up Soon
Join me on a musical journey featuring songs like "Barcelona Cowboy," "Reverend Dan," and "Lizzie Borden (Took An Ax)." Through these tracks and more, I share my fascination with American history and its rich tapestry of stories. As a foreigner, I'm driven to weave my own narratives using the authentic sounds of American folk. Whether performed solo or with a full band, each note resonates with my passion for exploring the back roads of Americana. Experience the magic of storytelling and the allure of folk music with Back Roads.
